What Makes Our Lamps Special
Our LED lamps emit the vast majority of their energy in the visible spectrum, a small amount in the infrared spectrum, and virtually none in the ultraviolet portion of the spectrum. This means that all our lamps are able to safely and reliably illuminate UV sensitive items like art that will break down and degrade over time if exposed to this type of emission. This also means that our lamps reduce the risk of cataracts and macular degeneration.
Our lamps do not have the environmental issues common to traditional lighting solutions like fluorescent or mercury vapor lights. Both of these traditional solutions contain mercury internal to the bulb and thus require special handling at the end of the product’s useful lifespan. None of these considerations are necessary with our LEDs. Light and Vision Lamps have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
Most of our lamps have LED advanced tactile control technology with dimming capabilities and kelvin adjustments.
CRI is a measurement of a light’s ability to reveal the actual color of objects, compared to natural light.
High CRI is generally a desirable characteristic in LEDs (although of course, it depends on the required application). All our lamps have very high ratings when it comes to CRI which means they are perfect for artistic tasks.
